Saturday/Sunday schedule - and get to know your performers!

Well, well, well... so it has come to this. Here is the schedule for Saturday, October 10 (as well as some stuff for Sunday) at the Boomslang Carnival! As you all know, this happens in Buster's parking lot and it's absolutely free (though I must note that there are some damn fine bands playing Boomslang and you should probably attend that too).

It should go without saying that all of this is subject to change. More stuff will likely be added soon.

As a big ol' bonus for you, click on a performer or performance below and you will be directed to a biography, some pictures and video, and a short interview.  I will have the rest of the links to performer bios up this week.  Until then...

The flyer! The flier? Woe and misery abound!

Hey all -

Quick update. I messed up the flyer - where it should have said "Passionfire" it said "Sacred Fire". Oy vey! These fahklumpt fire troops and their names! But yeah, it's Passionfire.

Here's the link to the new flyer in big format... or flier, as you prefer:

Oh, and here's what it looks like, once again:

A flyer! A flyer! Woe and misery have left us all!

Hello, one and all.

Here's the flyer for Boomslang Carnival. Anyone who dares call it "Boomslang Carnivale" with be subsequently left on the side of the road. Over the next few weeks I'll be posting bios and interviews with many of the performers, as well as a complete schedule. Until then...FEAST YOUR WEARY EYES:

Can't read that? Tragic. Here's what the bottom says:

Yes!
More info to come soon!

You are beautiful, my dears,

Joe Harbison, dilettantish and carefully assembled as always.

Step right up! Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages...

This blog will function as the website and all-in-one source of information for the Boomslang Carnival.

What is the Boomslang Carnival, you ask?

Well:

The Boomslang Carnival is a free, open event that will take place in Buster's Parking Lot on Saturday, October 10 as part of WRFL's Boomslang festival. All the day long it will inundate your swelling brain with such excitements as a full sideshow, a circus-themed fashion show, free lessons, fun games, medieval puppet theatre, surprise performances, searing fire and gorgeous dancing ladies. And as if that wasn't enough, my friend, old friend, there will be MUCH, MUCH, MUCH MORE!

In the coming days, this site will lay out all there is to know about the Boomslang Carnival, as well as performer info and schedules as they solidify (much like spilled Icee in the Walmart parking lot sun).

Updates are coming soon. Grab your pitchforks, folks - it's going to be a monster.

We love you all already,
-Joe Harbison / the Ford Theatre Reunion
